Volunteer Opportunites

Volunteer Needs

Certified Counselors: We are in need of Certified Counselors to facilitate evening groups for the women. If you are a Certified Counselor and interested in investing in the lives of women in need of support, please consider partnering with us!

Contractors: Are you talented with home repairs? Do you have a gift in the skilled trades? If so, we could use your assistance on various projects in our Sober Recovery House. We would welcome any help with providing simple construction services and minor house repairs.

Mentoring: If you feel called to help those in desperate need as a mentor, please consider volunteering with us in this capacity. We need mentors that will care for, listen to, and help build resilience and self-control skills with women. By working with our residents, you will make an impact on their lives and provide them with hope for a brighter future.

Sewing Machine Mechanics/Repairers: In order to take care of our sewing machinery, we in need volunteers who are skilled in the area of repairing sewing machines. We would need individuals who are available throughout the year to provide needed maintenance and repair on our sewing machines.

Sewer: Do you like to sew? If you know how to sew and would like to volunteer your time and talents as a sewer to our ministry, we would be happy to have you join us! Any type of basic sewing services that you can provide to us would be welcome!

Sewing Teachers: Have you ever taught Sewing classes before? If so, we would love to have you volunteer as one of our Sewing Teachers. If you feel called to help teach sewing classes and a life skill to the ladies in our home, please apply to be a volunteer with us today!

Yard Maintenance/Work: Do you like to garden? Are you known to have a green thumb? If so, we welcome you to help with any type of lawn care or yard maintenance that interests you. We have several areas surrounding our home that could use your special touch!
