We believe that God is what a person needs to improve their life. At Out of the Darkness, Inc. we believe that we are just one of the Lord's instruments who share a need for God's daily mercy and grace. As God's ambassadors, we feel we have been chosen to give hope to those who are in desperate need.
Suffering clouds our vision making it easy to forget what anchors our faith, but it commands our attention. When vulnerable individuals are in the midst of troubling circumstances, it has the power to blind and confuse them. By having a group of people who will point others to the One who is our Rock, Fortress, and Refuge, the healing process can begin. We all need people in our lives to remind us that life is not defined by our pain but by our union with Christ to obtain victory as He is our Healer and Protector.
We believe that giving hope is more than just convincing people that things will get better or helping them decide what to do; hope ultimately points people to the light and...Out of the Darkness.
